Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Father is a pharmacist and mother is a homemaker. Younger sister Marissa is studying at the University of Arizona to be an educator.Trained at The Juilliard School as the first student to double major in Drama and Vocal Arts. Member of the Drama Division's Group 36 and W. Stephen Smith's vocal studio.
